Logas Beach in the northwest of Corfu is also known as the ‘Sunset Beach’, so it should not surprise that it has one of the best sunsets in Greece. As the sun sets, the fading sunlight illuminates the cliffs at this beach in pastel colors, which makes this sunset an incredible sight. And once the sun has disappeared behind the horizon, you might just see the sky turn into a deep pink, so be sure to stay around.
If you want to visit this beach for sunset, you should check the tides. Should high tide and sunset happen to overlap, it is better to watch the colorful spectacle from the long staircases leading down to the beach. The 7th Heaven Restaurant at the top of the cliffs is another great option. It even has a glass platform that extends beyond the cliff’s edge! Therefore, you can also watch this stunning sunset in Greece if you are unable to walk down the stairs.
The easiest way to get to Logas Beach is to drive there. While it is close to the more touristic Sidari, there is no public transport that drops you off right at this beach. And while you could technically walk there, it is better to take a taxi as it would not be safe to walk back along the curvy roads in the dark.
If you want to take photos of this stunning location in Corfu, it is best to bring a tripod so you can use a longer exposure.
Sunsets in Laganas are truly beautiful. When the sun goes down, the sky is very soft with lovely pastel colors and sometimes it blends perfectly with the sea. The long sandy beach and the views of the hilly island make it one of the best spots to watch sunsets in Zakynthos.
There are plenty of hotels and restaurants by Laganas Beach.
You can visit Giannis Taverna and enjoy your meal while watching the sunset. Also, hotels such as Mediterranean Beach Resort will offer you amazing views of the sky and sea from the swimming pool area.
During the sunset, you can also capture airplanes landing just above your head at Zakynthos Airport Dionysios Solomos. It is less than 10 minutes drive from Laganas, so if you want to take some unique photos, look no further than Laganas Beach.
There are always some lovely boats in the sea that can add a bit of atmosphere to your sunsets pictures. You can also capture people’s horse riding if you walk closer to Kalamaki.
This famous destination in Greece offers not only vibrant nightlife but also incredible sunsets. You might not see many clouds, but the sky on this island looks really beautiful.

Milos is a gorgeous volcanic island in the heart of the Aegean Sea. Home to picturesque whitewashed villages, unspoiled beaches and spectacular landscapes, it is an excellent destination for those looking to explore a more authentic Greek island. Just like its more famous neighbors Santorini and Mykonos, Milos offers some truly amazing sunsets but with fewer crowds.
There’s no doubt that the best place to watch the sunset in Milos is the island’s capital Plaka. Perched on top of a hill, Plaka is the highest town in Milos and boasts fantastic views over the beautiful Adamas Bay.
One of the most popular sunset spots here is the terrace of Panagia Korfiatissa church. Every evening people gather here to watch the sun slowly melt into the Aegean Sea and paint the sky with vibrant orange and red hues. It is truly a sight to behold and one of the best things to do in Milos. If you’re visiting in the summer, make sure to show up early to secure your spot at the front of the terrace and get the best photos.
Other great places to be in Plaka during the golden hour are the Plaka Castle, offering 360-degree views of Milos, and the Utopia Cafe, where you can soak in the magnificent scenery with a cocktail in your hand.
If you’d like to spend the night in Plaka, consider staying at Halara Studios. These beautiful Cycladic-style apartments are perfectly located in the center of the town and feature breathtaking views of the coast of Milos.

Mykonos is one of the most popular summer destinations not only in Greece but in the world. The island is renowned for the white sand beaches, turquoise waters, the Cycladic architecture, and of course the nightlife.
One of the most popular things to do in Mykonos is to watch the sunset, one of the most majestic sunsets all over the Greek islands with the perfect backdrop, the sea, and the houses in Little Venice.
Little Venice is a small area that can be found in Mykonos Chora (main Town) very close to the iconic windmills. The area was called Little Venice by the houses built there by merchants inspired by Venice.
Now, these houses are turned into cocktail bars and restaurants and are the perfect spot to see the glorious sunset. You have two choices. You can watch the sunset from one of these bars while sipping a refreshing cocktail, or you can do so from the adjacent beach.
No matter what you choose head to the spot early to secure a good spot as this is a very popular place and it is always crowded. Alternatively, you can head up to the windmills ( 5 meters away and watch the sunset from there).
If you are want to enjoy the sunset from the privacy of your own balcony then I suggest you book a room at the Little Venice Suites. This adults-only hotel located in Little Venice offers luxurious accommodation with breathtaking views of the sea and the iconic windmills. Some units also offer an outdoor hot tub.

Highlights of the island include the Olive Museum in Eggares, the ruins of the Temple of Demeter, wandering the alleyways of the old town, and hiking out to the Portrara of Naxos for spectacular sunset views.
The Portrara can be visited any time of day, but at sunset, it’s the perfect spot to relax and see the sun fall beneath the horizon. It’s easy to access via a land bridge from the island. At the end of the promenade along the harbor, the sidewalk continues all of the way to the Portrara. There are some uneven steps, but the view makes it worth a visit.

When it comes to sunsets, no one does them better than Santorini! Greece, in general, has some of the most gorgeous spots in the world and it would be fair to say that Santorini has the most popular bunch of them all!
There are numerous spots on the island where you can head, not just to enjoy the sunsets but also to take pictures. Some of them are Oia, Fira, Akrotiri Lighthouse, and Santo wines being some of them; however, Akrotiri Lighthouse is one of the best as most visitors spend only a few days on the island and prefer to head to Oia to enjoy the sunset.
However, at Akrotiri, not only are the crowds scarce, but you can also enjoy unrestricted views of the sea and spend longer here without feeling rushed.
It takes about 40 minutes to get to Akrotiri as it is on the southern side of the island and it is best to drive with some people also opting for Quad bikes. Tripods are best avoided here as the ground is uneven and quite rugged.
As with any popular spot, it isn’t a bad idea to arrive at least 30 minutes before sunset is predicted for the day!
Akra Suites is a great hotel to stay when here as you could get great views of the se from your hotel itself!
